Gorgeous isn't it? I saw this illustration of Eleanor and Park on Twitter and immediately fell in love with it and I haven't even read the book yet! <3
Remember my blogging bucket list? This was resolution #10-
Ditch a few of those a bazillion social networks and use only those that I find beneficial to my blog or fun. Facebook's not quite working out for me so I'll be making one last attempt this year to see how it goes, if it still proves to tedious and pointless I'm getting rid of it.Instead of forcing myself to do the things I don't like, I'll be focusing on the stuff I truly enjoy!
I have been giving a Facebook a try but it hasn't been going too well. So my options right now are to switch over to Tumblr or to stick with Facebook and work it somehow!
So readers: Tell me which do you prefer Tumblr or Facebook?
Bloggers: Have you tried either of these platforms? Which works better for you? If Facebook is working for you, please share your tips/advise in the comments!

ReplyDeleteAre you going to do it every week?
I checked out most of the links, great selections.
Glad you liked it. Mishma! I'm hoping to do it once in two weeks. :)
DeleteI personally don't really "get" Tumblr. I mean, my impression is that it's like a simplified blog on its own, so if you already have a blog, you shouldn't use it.
ReplyDeleteI could be totally off the mark though. :P That's just the impression I get.
Love the round-up links!
Thanks for your input, Ashley-I agree with you about Tumblr being a simplified blog so maybe I'll try Facebook for sometime until I figure out a better alternative! :)
DeleteHaha, I ditched Facebook after a few months, but I quite like Tumblr (mostly "use" it to drool over people/food, though)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful Small Machines <3 And I <3 this new feature, too. Found "11 Questions To Ask Before Your Post Goes Live" esp. useful :)
LOL! Same here I just keep re-blogging Teen Wolf fan art! So glad to like it, Cayce. 'So Long To U' is great isn't it? :)
DeleteI really like this post! It's fun to find links, etc. I'm really loving Lorde these days. "Team" is my current favorite. Reminds me a bit of my friends. I use Tumblr but not for my blog...I just like to repost funny things or whatever I'm currently obsessing about. haha
ReplyDelete-Lauren
Yes for some reason Royals is stuck in my head-Haven't listened to Team yet but will do it soon! :)
DeleteI love these links! I just read a couple for the blogging tips and found them very helpful =) Thanks so much for searching for these and sharing them! Loving the art you shared too.
ReplyDeleteYou're welcome, I found the posts very helpful so the pleasure's all mine! :)
DeleteGreat round up Nuz. That art, I just want to look and look at it, I love it.
ReplyDeleteI don't use Tumblr, I don't get it. Maybe I'm too old. I enjoy using my facebook page but so far I don't have many likes. It's early days though so I'll stick with it for a while because it doesn't seem like a chore so far.
I know it's amazing isn't it? You should check out the illustrator's portfolio-She's super talented! I think I'll try Facebook for a little longer too. :)
DeleteI love these round-up posts -- thanks for finding me some great reading :)

ReplyDeleteOhhh and that Eleanor & Park art! That's AMAZING. I love finding things like that online. Did you see all the ones when TFiOS first came out? I swear, people are so talented and I can't even draw a stick man haha
I know, I couldn't stop staring at the art for a really long time too! :D Yes, I definitely remember the TFiOS-So pretty and looking at them gives me so many FEELS. Haha, I don't seem to have inherited the artistic gene, either! :P
DeleteGreat feature! It's hard to keep up with all of the great posts going around in the blogoshere and this is definitely a great resource. Thank you!
