Seven Things I Love About You: Crash Into You – Katie McGarry

Dear Crash Into You,

1) I love that your writing grabbed me from the first line and kept me reading through out the night until 3AM in the morning. The writing was simply riveting. Katie is truly an extraordinary storyteller.

2) I loved that you made me swoon(over both the cars and the hotties!), drove me crazy, made me giggle and left me breathless. The dual POVs gave me so much insight into both Isaiah and Rachel-I absolutely adored reading Isaiah's side of the story and discovering Isaiah through Rachel's eyes was definitely an exhilarating treat!

“Maybe this is what happens when you fall in love. On the outside a lighter is nothing amazing, but it holds all the ingredients that can create something wonderful. With a few pushes in the right direction, you can inspire something so brilliant that it pushes back the darkness.” 

3) I love that I fell in love with your hero and heroine. Rich, sheltered and sweet Rachel with her overprotective brothers that drove her insane, the dead sister whom she could never live up to and parents who couldn't  accept that Rachel's not her dead sister. And Isaiah the foster kid who has had his heart broken a few too many times.

4) I loved that the romance was the kind that leaves me breathless. It was intense, tender and passionate all at once and I couldn't help but root for Isaiah and Rachel!

"I feel like a mouse with you," I whisper. "The one that's already been caught by the cat."

That's when he touches me. Isaiah runs his hand through my hair, and every cell in my body vibrates with the gentle pull. "Rachel."

"Yes." It's hard to breathe.

"Kiss me."

5) I love that you stress the importance of family and friendships. You showed that sometimes family is not just the people to who you are related to by blood.

Only one other person in my life would risk everything for me. That's Noah. Our bond is one forged through the blood of battles won and lost in the system. We understand each other. Get each other. Have each other's back. We're surviving warriors.

6) I love that you didn't forget to shine the spotlight on the secondary characters. Abby, Logan and Rachel's brothers were distinct characters who left a mark and left me wanting to know more about them.

7) I love that with the end of Isaiah and Rachel's story begins another amazing story featuring West, Rachel's brother. Your introduction to him in Crash Into You has definitely left me craving for more!
