Teaser Tuesday (02)

Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading & slightly altered by Coffee, Books & Lipgloss. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:

• Grab your current read
• Open to a random page
• Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
•Do not include spoilers
• Share the title & author too, so others can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!
This weeks teaser is from

Author - Erica Lorraine Scheidt

Title - Uses for Boys

Published - Nov 13, 2102

Format - eBook, 240 Pages

Source - NetGalley for Review from the Publisher

So here's the teaser -
"I belong here, I tell Toy. I'm hungry for every city block. Every brick building. Every crowded intersection. Electric. I feel brand new."

Uses for Boys is not what I expected-I'm still not sure if that's a good thing or not.The cover indicates that it is a fairy tale love story. It's not.

  8. You're so right - the cover doesn't match the story at all. The story was so dark compared to the cover, I totally wasn't prepared for it! Hope you're sort-of enjoying it (that's how I felt!)
